Tactic is pretty simple couple of run turn run turn run attack and then stack combos in order to make him not be able to attack back, also what i read is when the round starts all your abilities go through a activation timer, the most basic abilities have a short timer while stronger abilities have longer timers, whatever your ultimate is(lvl40 shit) is the longest timer and rarely ever used in 1v1 but in group play it comes out more likely

Right, well this mostly compliments his wide swings and stabs, his runs(and turns) are always for positioning and/or mind games
And the combo is the same with DFO, Tekken, you name it
It's not a tactic it's simply how dangerous you are to the opponent
If it was a mere tactic, he wouldn't perfect some1 without armor, especially a mercenary (even though that enemy merc couldn't combo at 1/3 of the SM's capability)

The fact is he knows his class so well, as you see he always attacks the opponent from 2 or 3 (planned)steps ahead (even if he gets hit during an approach he's still at the advantage)
..and even continues comboing the air when the opponent is down heh
